Important Information about the KulturPass 2025

The current KulturPass project will end in December 2025 and will not be continued in this form.
Budgets that have already been activated can still be redeemed until November 30, 2025. Orders must be collected by December 15, 2025 at the latest.

What you need to know now:

  • Until November 30: Use your remaining budget and reserve books, music, concert tickets, cinema tickets, and much more in the app.
  • Until December 15: Pick up your orders on time – after this date, your claim will expire.

All young people who turned 18 in 2024 (born in 2006) and live in Germany were able to activate the personal budget until 31. December 2024 using the online ID procedure with the electronic ID card, the Sparkasse online account, an eID card or an electronic residence permit (eAT). From the 18th birthday, the budget was made available in the KulturPass app. Registration and identification was already possible before the 18th birthday.

Those who turned 18 in 2023 (born in 2005) were able to activate the culture budget until 31.12.2023.

The budget for the 2006 cohort can be redeemed until 30 November, 2025, provided it was activated by the end of 2024. Reservations must be picked up by 15 December, 2025, at the latest. 

The 2005 cohort was able to redeem their budget until 31 December, 2024.

If you turned 18 years old in 2024 (year of birth 2006) and have successfully identified yourself, you can redeem the budget via the KulturPass website or app. You can get the ticket or the selected item on site from the cultural providers.
